City Council At-Large Candidate, Derek Green, Esquire, receives three major endorsements from Gas Workers Local 686, Transport Workers Union Local 234 and the Philadelphia Fire Fighters’ Union Local 22.

As the former Special Counsel to Councilwoman Marian B. Tasco, Deputy City Solicitor, and Assistant District Attorney, Green has worked throughout Philadelphia to address the issues confronting the City.

Mike McDonough, VP of Gas Workers Local 686, stated, “Derek Green’s vigorous work, attention to detail and straightforward manner with people, makes him an excellent choice for representing Philadelphians in City Council.”

According to President Willie Brown of the TWU Local 234, “Derek Green represents a cross-section of what’s good about Philadelphia’s history and what’s even greater about our future. His years of public service are only surpassed by his intricate knowledge of public policy and affinity for good government. His unwavering support of the working-class men and women of organized labor unions throughout the region is the ultimate reason why TWU Local 234’s leaders expeditiously endorsed Derek’s candidacy.”
